Various levels influence transportation policy and land use in Israel, including the Ministries of Transportation and Finance, local authorities, planning committees, and more. Everyone already understands today that the method of predicting demand and creating a volume of roads to provide supply for demand is an impractical and, above all, wasteful method on an economic, transportation, and environmental level. It is known to all that the solutions lie in sustainable transportation.
The project initiates, develops and assists a network of communities across Israel, which constitute existing and potential consumers of public transportation, in organizing action as a community. Activities include acquiring knowledge and skills for public action on issues of public transport (PT), tools for organizing an effective and influential community, assistance in formulating requirements from the authorities and from transport operators, and leading nation-wide efforts.

Today, it is well understood that the method of demand forecasting and building roads to meet the ever growing demand, is very costly, not practical and wasteful at the economic, environmental and transport levels.
